Dear Parents / Carers, of Amok! Kids Oswestry
I would like to officially welcome you and your child to AMOK! Kids UK, and thank you for your patience and support over the last few weeks. We have experienced a few teething problems with our venue, but are now in our new home in the brand new Marches School gym in Oswestry(and should be here permanently once exam time is over!)
I would also like to introduce myself as AMOK! administrator. My name is Sarah, and you have probably already noticed me joining in with the karate sessions so far! As part of my role, I will be responsible for registering the students every session, enrolling new students and dealing with the relevant paperwork, handling any payments. If you have any queries regarding any of these issues, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will be available at the beginning and end of sessions, and can be called out of a session at any time. I apologise in advance for any absences I may occur over the next few weeks, which will be due to my current work commitments. If I am not present, any queries can be left with Gareth or Graeme. I would like to thank you for your support with payments regarding membership, sessions and insurance. We realize that initially these payments mount up, but would like to point out that we have tried to keep our costs as low as possible, whilst still enabling us to provide a high quality service and plenty of learning opportunities for our students. I will ensure that I keep you up to date with all prices. Below I have included a breakdown of our current prices.
Insurance – £10 - a mandatory payment for 12 months insurance. For every subsequent year, this charge will be £5 only.
AMOK! Membership – £10 - this places your child on the AMOK! register and means that they are able to enter competitions and grade for their belts. (There will be an additional charge due at each grading, (price to follow soon) which will include a FREE belt.)
If both insurance and membership are paid together, your child will receive a white belt FREE.
Sessions – £3 per session, or £20 per month (payable during the first week of each month) – this will save you up to £7 per month.
We have had great fun over our first few weeks, and would like to thank the students for their continued hard work and effort. However, we would like to see the group grow even more in the near future. This will mean that we achieve a greater balance in ages and gender across the group, and provide all our students with a greater opportunity to make new friends. If you have any suggestions regarding places where we could potentially advertise, through posters, leaflets etc, we would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
