SOFT SKILLS
In addition to the obvious benefits that physical training practices and methods provide, AMOK! KIDS! are also exposed to “Soft Skills”, the first of which is presentation skills. As the KIDS! develop, they are required to prepare lesson plans and present structured lectures and practical classes. The more experienced students present workshops and seminars for martial arts groups both locally, and internationally.
The second soft skill that the KIDS! learn is Mentorship. The new KIDS! are taught how to select a suitable Mentor and then how to schedule and conduct meetings with their Mentor so as to maximize the benifits of this relationship. The skills are designed to benifit KIDS! throughout their lives.
Special exercises develop co-ordination and core muscle strength and are specially designed to encourage teamwork |
